Booster may be required if greater than 10 years<\/li>\n<li>Complete series for Varicella (Chicken Pox), or positive titer showing immunity.\u00a0<strong>Childhood exposure history will not be accepted<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Complete Hepatitis B series, or positive titer showing immunity<\/li>\n<li>Complete COVID vaccination series<\/li>\n<li>Yearly Influenza (October \u2013 April)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>To be admitted into the AEMT program, candidates must have:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid state-issued ID or driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Proof of high school diploma or GED (or higher)<\/li>\n<li>Acceptable passing score on entrance exam if not rolling over from recently (within 6 months) completed Grady EMS Education Academy EMT program<\/li>\n<li>Clear and pass a\u00a0background check and drug screen<\/li>\n<li>Up to Date Immunizations (as required by the Grady Health System):\n<ul>\n<li>Complete series of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR), or positive titer showing immunity<\/li>\n<li>Complete series of Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (TDaP). The ATI TEAS for Allied Health exam is required for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>EMT Program<\/li>\n<li>AEMT Program<\/li>\n<li>Paramedic Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>About the ATI TEAS<\/h4>\n<p>Candidates must have first applied online at here. Candidates will select a testing date and time as part of the application.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must create an online account at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.atitesting.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.atitesting.com<\/a> prior to their exam date. You can find more information and practice exams online at the ATI website \u2013 the fee is $70 and must be paid on the day of the exam with a credit or debit card \u2013 cash and checks are NOT accepted.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who choose to test at Grady&#8217;s EMS academy must arrive at testing location (<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/mxSfknfcnP8APpU96\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2284 Marietta Blvd NW Atlanta, GA 30318<\/a>) at least 15 minutes ahead of their testing time. The exam lasts approximately 4 hours. Latecomers may be allowed to retest on another day depending on availability. Applicants must receive a cumulative score of 60% or higher to be eligible for enrollment in our program.
