To qualify for the EMT Program, applicants must:
Applicants for the AEMT and Paramedic programs must show proof of license.
Entrance Testing (ATI TEAS Exam)
Applicants will need to complete the ATI TEAS exam as part of the admissions process.
Important details:
- Create an account at: www.atitesting.com before your exam
- Exam fee: $70 (paid the day of testing)
- Payment: Credit card, debit card, or prepaid card only — cash and checks are not accepted
- Study materials and practice exams are available at the ATI website
Background Check and Drug Screening
Applicants will also need to complete a Background Check and Drug Screening as part of the admissions process.
- Create an account at: www.advantagestudents.com
- Testing Fee: $99.95 (paid online when you create an account)
- Choose Get Started under Place Order, then select “Affiliated Hospital Listings”
- Select Hospital – Grady Health System and Program – Student Education (includes a background check and drug screen)
